Milestone Academy have a great opportunity and are seeking to appoint a Student Services Officer who will support students with attendance, their behaviour for learning and their emotional well-being.
The Student Services Officer will take on responsibilities to provide support to other pastoral staff, involving behaviour mentoring, liaising with other provisions where students are educated off site and supporting attendance and punctuality.
Whilst full training will be offered when in post, our successful candidate will have some prior experience of working in a similar capacity directly with young people, offering an empathetic and restorative outlook for the benefit of the students.
This is a permanent position offering an actual salary of £24,339 per annum (£28,297 full time equivalent) based on working 37 hours per week, term time + 1 week inset.
Working for Leigh Academy Milestone: Leigh Academy Milestone is a large special school for pupils with Profound, Severe and Complex needs, across five sites and is part of Leigh Academies Trust.
We currently have 385 pupils on roll aged between the ages of 2 and 19.
Leigh Academy Milestone has been judged as Outstanding by Ofsted at our last three inspections.
