Flourish Education are recruiting a secondary English teacher to start immediately for the full academic year.
Our client is based in Great Barr with a "good" Ofsted rating and are known for having extremely supportive SLT and an all-round good reputation.
The ideal candidate will be confident teaching English (Literature & Language) across KS3 and KS4.
As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to: Teach English (Literature & Language) throughout KS3 and KS4.
Planning, marking, and assessment required.
Comply with the school behaviour policy.
Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills Required skills and experience for the English Teacher role: Specialist in English Confident teaching both English (Literature & Language) up to GCSE Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English - Early career Teachers (ECT's) are encouraged to apply.
Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.
Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
Previous school experience teaching Science.

Location: This school is based in Great Barr and is easily accessible via public transport and car from areas such as Erdington, Kingstanding, Sutton Coldfield and Perry Barr.
