Responsibilities The Business Studies Teacher will: Teach engaging and well-structured Business Studies lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, following the school's curriculum and meeting the diverse learning needs of students.
Develop students' interest and understanding in business, economics, and entrepreneurship, encouraging them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
Build a supportive, organised classroom environment that promotes academic curiosity and respectful behaviour.
Regularly assess student progress and address any gaps in understanding, ensuring all students can build a strong foundation in the subject.
Work closely with the school's SEND team to provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum.
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental meetings, collaborating with colleagues to enhance student outcomes.
Engage with school activities, including clubs and trips, to support students' wider learning experiences.
Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a background in Business Studies or a related field.
Experience teaching Business Studies at Key Stages 3 and 4, with a passion for inspiring students in the subject.
Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive learning environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well with students, staff, and parents.
A commitment to continuous professional growth and a proactive approach to collaborative school improvement.
