Our Lady's Care Home, based in Belfast is currently recruiting an Activities Therapist to join our friendly, caring, and progressive Care Home.
This is a vital role within the Home, where the successful candidate will work as a team to create a stimulating and developing activity program to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the nursing home.
Ideal candidate: Working as part of a team to deliver excellent quality, person-centred activities, and social activities for residents.
Plan special events and group activities, on occasion creating personalised plans for residents.
Facilitate opportunities for residents to spend time together.
Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation.
Must have a good command of written and spoken English.
Relevant vocational qualifications (achieved or working towards).
Experience working with elderly residents suffering from dementia.
Knowledge of care of the elderly patients' Charter of Rights.

Desired Criteria Relevant Vocational Qualification (achieved / working towards).
Experience of working with elderly residents suffering from dementia.
Knowledge of Care of the Elderly Patients Charter of Rights.
Required Criteria Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation.
Must have a good command of written and spoken English.
Excellent communication skills, specifically with the elderly.
Team player who can demonstrate a caring nature.
