Consultant Paediatrician with Special Interest in Neonatology Are you looking for a fresh start? Our client based in North Wales has an opportunity available for a Consultant Paediatrician with Special Interest in Neonatology.

You could become part of a team who is committed to promoting equality and diversity in their unique new sub-regional neonatal intensive care unit (SuRNICC).

The successful applicant will be expected to take a full share in the 1:7 designated non-resident sole neonatal consultant on call rota. The unit is supported by a neonatal Tier 1 rota as well as a group of 5 ANNPs and paediatric tier 2 cover. The posts are suitable for candidates with a neonatal CCT as well as general paediatricians with a special neonatal interest.

The appointee must have the following to be eligible for this post: Full GMC registration (ESSENTIAL)MRCPCH or equivalentCCT in paediatrics (with an interest in neonatology) - on the Specialist Register plus substantial experience or training of at least 2 years in the field of neonatologyExperience of undergraduate and postgraduate teachingWorking as part of the management team Additional Information:
The successful applicant will be on a 10 session Consultant contract. A job plan will be agreed according to the expertise of the successful applicants subject to annual review with the local Clinical Director.

They provide a study leave annual package of 10 days and up to £1000 per year. The post holder will also be offered a wide range of opportunities to take on additional PAs from Prison clinics to the Section 136 rota that operates within the Trust.
