The Role We have an exciting opportunity to join the firm as aBusiness Development Executive where you willsupport the Business Development team with all BD activities, in line with Myerson's commercial objectives.
Duties of the role include: This is a wide ranging, dynamic and hands onrole where you will be involved in all manner of business development activities.
Some the duties and responsibilities include: Answering and transferring all inbound calls in a prompt, efficient, friendly and professional manner Monitoring the team inbox and ensuring all digital enquiries received are directed to the correct department Responding appropriately to website queries via live chat in a prompt and professional manner Setting up and maintaining client records on the CRM Handling new enquiries professionally and updating these records on the enquiries system within the CRM Taking messages when required and ensuring these are dealt with appropriately Building an excellent rapport with clients and ensuring they receive an exceptional level of service Liaising and building relationships with all of our internal departments Building your knowledge of our fee-earning teams to be able to help support customers effectively Identifying and undertaking training and development as required to meet personal and business needs Undertaking any other reasonable duties, commensurate with the level of the post to ensure the smooth running of Myerson Promoting and complying with legislation and Myersons policies on equal opportunities and health and safety both in the delivery of services and the treatment of others Who we are looking for The position would suit someone with excellent interpersonal, organisational, verbal and written communication skills.
The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail, understand the importance of working to tight deadlines and be able to multiple and varied tasks simultaneously.The ability to work proactively with a collaborative, team focused approach is essential.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be educated to degree level andprevious experience working in a business development role is beneficial (preferably in a law firm or other professional services environment).
