Contract Delivery Manager – Network Refresh Project Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite in Plymouth Contract Duration: Initially until the end of March 2025 (Project scope for 12+ Months) Start Date: ASAP Unify are proud to be supporting a highly regarded Digital Transformation partner who are delivering a number of exciting, high profile work packages in the Government space.
We are seeking an experienced Contract Delivery Manager to lead a critical network refresh project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of project objectives within agreed timelines and budgets, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
The Delivery Manager will lead a skilled team of three Network Engineers and one Network Architect, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration across the team and with external partners.
Oversee the delivery of the network refresh project from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and customer expectations.
Coordinate and manage the efforts of the project team (3 Network Engineers and 1 Architect), ensuring effective delegation and team alignment.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
Ensure the project adheres to agreed budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
Manage stakeholder communications, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and achievements.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Deliver project documentation, including progress reports, risk logs, and project closure reports.
Proven experience as a Delivery Manager in IT infrastructure projects, ideally in network refresh or similar initiatives.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading technical teams.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing complex projects with multiple dependencies.
Solid understanding of network infrastructure technologies and best practices.
Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or other project management software.
Relevant certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent.
Technical certifications in networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) or equivalent knowledge.
Previous experience in a customer-facing delivery role within the IT or telecoms sector.
