Medical Consultant Psychiatrist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatristto join our Yorkshire Region, working across our West Yorkshire sites consisting of HMP Leeds Category B remand, HMP Wakefield Category A and HMP Wealstun Category C.Monday to Friday 9am-5.We can offer some flexibility with shift times if required This position is a full time role working 40 hours per week,youll receive an annual salary up to £189,900per annum - depending on experience.
Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course Regional and national career development opportunities Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks Actively participate in the strategic direction of the mental health service, lead the senior mental health clinicians on service developments and provide clinical supervision Work within the multi-disciplinary team to review referrals, determine appropriate treatment plans, conduct risk assessments, and engage in multi professional complex case reviews.
