What You'll Be Doing: As a Joinery Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our procurement process, ensuring that our bespoke items, goods, and services meet specified budgets, quality standards, and project timelines.
Your responsibilities will include: Planning and executing the purchase of goods, services, and bespoke items.
Reviewing, comparing, and evaluating prices to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Drafting quotations, raising purchase orders, and managing supplier contracts.
Liaising with suppliers, production teams, and colleagues to ensure timely availability of materials and products.
Briefing suppliers and contractors on production work requirements and conducting quality control checks at supplier factories.
Maintaining positive supplier relationships while negotiating specifications, pricing, and deadlines.
Managing the Workshop Quote Log and Monthly Project Report, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
