Job description: Finance Analyst - Ingredients 18 Month Fixed Term Contract Full-Time Market Drayton We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our Ingredients Business unit for a 18 month fixed term contract.
This role is crucial in providing financial support and ensuring accurate reporting during a period of transition.
The successful candidate will work closely with the finance and operations teams to make informed commercial decisions.
Main Responsibilities: Prepare and post journals for month-end activities.
Reconcile stock and manage SAP uploads and report running.
Review production reports and manage accruals/prepayments.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and cost variance analysis.
Analyse material/production price variances and foreign exchange variances.
Administer and reconcile weekly and monthly raw material pricing adjustments.
Support the Management Accountant with weekly reporting and month-end activities.
Collaborate with other functions to ensure accurate and timely information input.
Prepare the month-end Functional Review Pack as required.
Assist the operations team in understanding their actual costs.
Provide management reporting, including weekly planning reports, sales analysis, and inventory reporting.
Support the Financial Controller and Management Accountant in delivering accurate and timely financial reports.
Key Requirements: Previous experience with SAP Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA Experience in manufacturing/costing.
