CATS Academy Boston is looking for an energetic and knowledgeable Coach and Strength & Conditioning Trainer for their Basketball program.
This person will have the availability to work in the morning, afternoon, evenings and weekends throughout the entire season.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement age-appropriate training programs Teach fundamental skills, tactics, and strategies Plan and execute practice sessions Provide constructive feedback and guidance to players Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive learning environment Strength & Conditioning lead.
Attend games, tournaments, and other team events Collaborate with other school employees, teachers, dorm parents and administrators Requirements: Previous coaching experience at the youth level Strong knowledge of basketball skills and strategies Previous Strength & Conditioning experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Valid Driver's License and ability to drive school vehicles Ethics and Behavior: You will be expected to maintain high standards of ethics and behavior inside and outside the Academy.
In particular, you must: Treat students with dignity and build relationships with them rooted in mutual respect.
Model the behaviors you expect of students in your behavior.
Remember that safeguarding student safety and well-being is of primary importance.
Maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality.
