Job Title: Head of Organisational Design Location: Hybrid (1-2 days per week in Windsor) Employment Type: Full-time/Contract About the Role Join our newly formed Organisational Excellence team, a multi-disciplinary group of experts committed to driving performance and growth through organisational development and transformation.
Reporting to the Director of Organisational Design and Workforce Strategy, the Head of Organisational Design will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation.
This role offers a hybrid working model, with the expectation to be in our Windsor office 1-2 days per week.
This setup provides flexibility while fostering collaboration and connection with colleagues.
For this opportunity, you will be an employee of Ajilon (Adecco), a FTSE500 Global organisation with over 52 clients, and sole supplier to some of the biggest organisations in the country and the world.
As an Ajilon Consultant, you will work on-site with our client, receiving a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities Shaping the Future: Design and implement innovative operating models and organisational structures to enhance performance and drive growth across our business units and group functions.
Defining Organisational Design Principles: Own and embed organisational design principles throughout the company.
Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership teams, delivering data-driven insights and recommendations on operating model decisions.
Project Leadership: Lead strategic organisational design projects to ensure successful outcomes.
Oversight and Metrics: Monitor and maintain organisational health metrics (e.g., spans and layers) in alignment with our organisational design principles.
Capability Building: Upskill the People Function and broader organisation on organisational design best practices.
Skills and Experience Required Extensive Organisational Design Experience: Minimum of 8+ years leading organisational design programs in consultancy or in-house roles.
Proven Expertise: Deep understanding of organisational design models and principles, with a track record of delivering measurable results.
Matrix Organisation Acumen: Skilled at navigating and managing priorities within a matrixed organisation.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to manage conflicting priorities and engage with senior stakeholders, including C-Suite executives.
Leadership: Recognised SME (subject matter expert) at an L6/L5 level.
