Thanks to the groups comprehensive industry knowledge and broad range of services, Greenview Group has a strong relationship with government-backed, blue-chip customers as well as major private contractors.
Key Responsibilities To oversee the day to day running of electrical capital works projects in Commercial sectors Attend site meetings, resolve site issues and ensure that projects are completed to a good standard Central point of contact for Senior Managers along with administration personnel for all work/queries relating to service delivery Daily communication with the operational Planners to enable effective work planning, ensuring flow of work instructions are allocated to appropriate sub-contractors or direct labour Liaising with and managing sub-contractor relations, and performance ensuring quality and performance standards are being met in line with service delivery.
Ensure job numbers and progress is monitored & that all works are completed on or ahead of target, requesting necessary variations or extensions in a timely manner Tracking rejected jobs, investigating internally to provide information & explanation for job notes Analysing work instruction and SORs to ensure correct codes are being issued, to ensure correct value of work ahead of works being signed off as complete Attend all required meetings, ensuring that information for reporting is up to date and accurate Provide leadership and direction to the operation teams, driving accountability and ensuring people process adherence at all times Carry out thorough Pre & Post Inspection Surveys to agree measurements and application of SORs; Liaising regularly with client Maintenance Officers on any queries or amended works Ensure works are completed via operative PDA accurately with all relevant information being readily available Provide support, guidance and training to direct labour & sub-contractor staff, including training of new staff General Engage fully in regular supervision with your line manager.
Adhere to Greenview Health and Safety and safeguarding policies and procedures at all times and comply with legislation and statutory duties and data controls protocols.
Act in line with, promote and carry out all responsibilities with full regard to Greenview Equality and Diversity Policy.
Ensure individual expertise and subject area knowledge is up to date through Continuous Personal Development, including sharing good practice, engaging with training and acquiring / maintaining any individual qualifications required of the role.
As necessary, and in addition to the above, undertake other activities commensurate with the nature of the post.
Take ownership for own work and proactively manage all tasks assigned General office administration and data input Adhere to confidentiality at all times Support other departments as and when required Criteria Full UK Driving Licence 18th Edition Testing and Inspection or Equivalent Valid CSR Card Good working knowledge of Health and Safety in the Workplace Microsoft Office Experience (Excel) Excellent communication skills Ability to work as part of a team and to develop and sustain good working relationships, communicating formally and informally with colleagues and customers.
