Distribution Shift Manager

Job Description £38,000 per annum plus a great range of benefits 40 hours per week Shift Required: Sunday - Thursday 20:00pm until 04:00am with an element of flexibility required during peak season Bicester, Oxfordshire We're currently looking for a Distribution Shift Manager on a permanent basis at our Fresh Direct depot in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
You'll take responsibility for ensuring our team of drivers are performing their role to the highest possible standards.
As Distribution Shift Manager on a day to day basis you'll be involved in a wide variety of tasks from ensuring our drivers are adhering to all legislative requirements, company policies and ways of working to identifying & embedding new initiatives to improve the distribution operation.
As a strong people leader, you'll use your transport operational knowledge and experience to support the Distribution Manager in building a high performing team of drivers and administration colleagues.
This is a varied job, where you will be not only be ensuring all costs are in line with the budgetary requirements but also taking a key role in creating the correct environment for our colleagues - leading by example and setting and maintaining standards in service, health, safety, and compliance.
To join us in this role you'll have a solid understanding of key legislative requirements and ideally hold Management CPC qualification or have a significant level of experience with a view to completing additional learning to obtain relevant qualifications.
