Job Details Grade 6 £31,067 to £34,314 per annum + potential additional earnings of up to £3K per annum We have both full and part-time vacancies (which includes working evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in duties) Full time hours equates to 148 hours over a 4 week period Part time hours equates to 74 hours over a 4 week period About the Job Do you have what it takes to become an exceptional part of a Children's Residential Service and want to make a real difference to the lives of the children and young people that we care for?

As a part of this transformation, we are expanding our Children's Residential Service and opening up two new homes for children and young people with disabilities, aged from 8-17.
Y ou will have gained your knowledge and experience in either a residential, additional needs or specialist education setting and have an: Understanding of children and young people with SEND/disability and person-centred care.
A genuine interest in the well-being and inclusion of children and young people with disabilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in supporting children and young people who may show behaviours that may challenge.
Experience in providing care to individuals with disabilities and possibility of personal care.
We ask that you have a positive attitude and outlook and have the ability to be both adaptable and flexible to meet the needs and difficulties of the children and young people we are caring for.

The children need committed and dependable individuals who will go above and beyond, and help to safeguard them and promote their physical and emotional health and wellbeing.
There are real opportunities for your personal and professional development and our training offer in Rochdale is second to none, including you completing the Therapeutic Parenting with PACE training programme, which is the foundation of our 'Model of Care'.
You must be over 21 years of age and have at least 1 years' experience working with Children and Young People.
It is preferable that you are qualified to NVQ/Diploma Level 3 Working with Children and Young People or equivalent, but don't worry if you don't, as we will support you to obtain this qualification as part of your ongoing training and development.
