AdvertCasual Refuse & Recycling OperativeVarious Locations across the region (Stranraer, Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Lockerbie)£12.96 per hour Our recycling and refuse team work within the hearts of our Communities across Dumfries and Galloway.
We are looking for potential candidates within our communities to work with us on an "as and when required" basis to help us deliver this essential service.
We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require Refuse & Recycling Operatives at our depots at Stranraer, Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Lockerbie.
Duties will include:- Collection of refuse, recyclate, white goods and special uplifts for disposalOther tasks relating to Waste Collection Services functionsWhen required, drive and be responsible for allocated vehicles.
You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
You will be fully trained, and you will be required to work as part of a team.
This post is subject to candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland.
