AdvertCasual Senior Refuse & Recycling OperativeVarious Locations across the region (Stranraer, Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Lockerbie)£12.59 per hourOur recycling and refuse team work within the hearts of our Communities across Dumfries and Galloway.We are looking for potential candidates within our communities to work with us on an "as and when required" basis to help us deliver this essential service.We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require Senior Refuse & Recycling Operatives at our depot in Stranraer, Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Lockerbie.Duties will include:-• Driving of refuse, recyclate, white goods vehicles.
• Ensuring collection of refuse & recycling routes on a daily basis in a safe and efficient manner and adhering to Health & Safety and Safe Working Procedures.
• Other tasks relating to Waste Collection Services functionsYou will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
