SHEQ Advisor - Hertfordshire One of our major clients who embarks on a strategic expansion to lead the transition to sustainable power are looking for a SHEQ ADVISOR .
There mission centres on delivering clean, efficient energy solutions while prioritizing environmental stewardship and community development.
As a SHEQ Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing expert guidance on the management of health, safety, and environmental matters.
Core Responsibilities: Perform site inspections and audits for both employees and subcontractors Offer advice on a variety of specialist areas, including risk assessments, fire safety, CDM regulations, hazardous materials, noise control, and machinery safety Support the operational and management teams in enhancing and maintaining management systems and practices Coordinate with external organizations such as the Health and Safety Executive, clients, and stakeholders Assist with the management and investigation of incidents Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and deliver SHE-related training on health, safety, and environmental risks Provide onboarding and induction training to new employees and operatives Set an example in promoting a positive safety culture that aligns with MES and Alliance values Required Skills & Expertise: NEBOSH General or Construction certificate In-depth knowledge of CDM Regulations Previous experience as a Safety Advisor in construction (experience in utilities is a plus) Environmental qualifications (preferred) Proven ability to demonstrate strong safety leadership and promote a safety-first culture Skilled in influencing others across all levels Competent in managing conflicts during site inspections Confident in delivering clear, engaging presentations Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Full driving license and willingness to travel Salary: £50,000 SHEQ Advisor - Hertfordshire
