We are looking for an experienced communications professional, with honed communications skills and the ability to hit the ground running.
As Head of Communications, you will be strategic and hands-on, supporting and guiding our leaders in delivering excellent communications for our colleagues, patients, service users, and their families.

Main duties of the job Working with one other Head of Communications and a Deputy Head of Communications, you will need in-depth media handling competence, internal communications exemplar skills, marketing, digital, and stakeholder experience.
The post holder reports to the NCA Director of Communications and Fundraising and has responsibility, as part of the Communications Senior Leadership Team, for the delivery of the Group communications functions, supporting our Care Organisations and NCA functions and services to meet the needs of our people and the patients and populations we serve.
The post holder will lead the delivery of communications for our colleagues, patients, partners, and wider stakeholders.
The Head of Communications is responsible for highly complex, timely, clear, efficient, strategic, and operational communications to internal and external audiences.
The Head of Communications will develop and implement integrated marketing, communications, branding, and reputation management initiatives, consistent with the NCA's objectives and priorities.
They will lead a multi-disciplinary team to provide technical advice and guidance on appropriate communications solutions.
