Flourish Education are working with a Primary School in Harborne, who are seeking a Year 2 Teacher to work in their school.
This school is a 2-form entry, Good rated, faith school who are community centred and work on the thrive approach to help best support pupils and staff within the school.
This school is seeking a Year 2 Teacher to work as a full class Teacher, starting from January and continuing until the end of the academic year.
As this is a full-class teacher role, their will be planning responsibilities, this being a 2-form entry, the planning would be shared between both year group classes.
The responsibilities of this Year 2 Class Teacher Role, Include: Full class responsibilities, including planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons Teach the Key Stage 1 (KS1) National Curriculum effectively to Year 2 students Foster an inclusive learning environment, encouraging positive behaviour Regular marking and assessment of students' work to promote learning development Collaborate with other Class Teacher and staff to create a supportive team dynamic Maintain a welcoming and safe classroom in line with school policies Required Skills and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), including Early Career Teachers (ECT) Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 (KS1) National Curriculum Demonstrated excellence in behaviour management skills Previous experience as a Primary Teacher, specifically as a Class Teacher in Year 2 Ability to effectively plan and prepare lessons that cater to diverse learning needs Working as a Year 2 Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including: Competitive day rate of £162.31 to £223.63, equating to an annual salary of £31,650 to £43,607 based on full-time work Option of PAYE or Umbrella payment method Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates, 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot Pension Contributions Free KCSIE-compliant Safeguarding and Prevent Duty Training, including modules on FGM, legislation, and abuse £100 welcome-to-the-team bonus Refer a Friend bonus scheme Ongoing support throughout the registration process and while in post This Year 2 Teacher position is based in Harborne, an area easily accessible from Edgbaston, Selly Oak, Bearwood, Quinton, Ladywood, and Smethwick.
