About the Role You'll be joining a dynamic team, working on Made to Order (MTO) projects for domestic and commercial wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and separators.
You'll partner closely with the internal sales and production teams, ensuring seamless delivery of tailored solutions.
Beyond daily tasks, you'll have the opportunity to innovate, design, and improve products that place Kingspan as a global leader in wastewater management.
What You'll Do Design work using CAD (predominately SolidWorks and some AutoCAD) for all MTO Orders throughout the Water Business, including: Domestic and Commercial Treatment Plant Domestic and Commercial Septic, Settlement and Holding tanks  Pumping Stations - Sewage, Effluent.
Grinder & Surface Water RWH Systems - from standard domestic applications to commercial system design Changes & Product Improvements to the above product ranges via the ECR/ECN process Creating new product from design meetings with sales and process teams Internal & external technical support and advise on design and installation of products Generation of technical sales documents, training literature & production drawings for shop floor operatives Creating reports and delivering presentations on the monthly MTO and project workload for the Water BU Keeping abreast of new materials and tank construction methods.
Item Code & Bill of Material creation and maintenance.
Compliance & Quality: o  Actively engage in maintaining compliance across all product designs and certifications.
o   Foster a culture of compliance and innovation within the team.
What We're Looking For Essential Qualifications & Skills Recognized qualification in Mechanical Engineering .
Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred; AutoCAD experience is a bonus).
Mechanical Design background (ideally with knowledge of GRP, drive components and pumps) Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of engaging with both shop-floor teams and senior management.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Desirable Extras Postgraduate qualification in Science, Technology, or Engineering .
Previous experience within the water industry either sewage or pump station systems Experience with electrical engineering principles , including wiring and circuit diagrams.
Awareness of European legislation for water treatment, movement and storage Foreign language skills (Norwegian, French, Polish, or German preferred).
