An exciting opportunity has opened up for a creative Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team.
This is a newly created role and perfect for someone looking for more autonomy.
Job Purpose: As a strategic internal communications and marketing specialist, you will be a key member of a team that develops thorough and engaging communication campaigns for a widely diverse, global internal audience.
Working alongside and embedded within our client's Corporate Services team, we are looking for a talented writer and storyteller with a natural curiosity and the ability to turn complex topics into engaging content in our client's corporate voice.
Working in a fast-paced and flexible manner, you will partner with the Head of Communications and Engagement (Corporate Services) as well as colleagues across the Corporate Services division to produce content that supports reputational drivers and communication objectives.
You will be responsible for the delivery and management of Corporate Services communications, marketing and collateral to support the global team: Driving consistent messaging of the divisional strategy with global guidelines and vision; think globally, execute locally.
Creation and execution of project communications.
Overhaul & redesign of our internal website (Microsoft SharePoint) Driving the divisional brand and reputation amongst employees.
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for developing strategic communications for the Corporate Services division whilst working collaboratively across other lines of business and functions.
Create quality content in a variety of engaging formats (e.g., email, articles, videos, executive blogs, infographics, landing pages, etc.)
Manage stakeholders, projects and ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced and complex global customer service and delivery environment.
Uphold communication standards based on best practice and corporate style guidelines.
Liaise with the Corporate Services team, vendors, and service providers to create comprehensive communication plans.
Prepare and present marketing and communication strategies to senior leadership and corporate management for review and approval.
Work with the client's brand and communications teams to ensure compliance with standards.
Identify and advocate for the adoption of new processes, tools, and best practices as the divisional team transforms its services and workflows for a better experience for employees and third-party vendors.
Analyse metrics, share insights, and adjust plans with a focus on continuous improvement.
Person specification: The ideal candidate will display knowledge and experience of the following; Skills/Competences Highly strategic, innovative thinker with the ability to deliver the task at hand as well as connecting the dots to see the bigger picture.
Ability to successfully drive projects from development to completion.
Strong project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines, juggle multiple priorities and execute flawlessly with great attention to detail.
Demonstrated success developing and executing communications strategies and campaigns for large enterprises.
Highly talented writer, editor, and storyteller.
Proactive and collaborative multitasker with exceptional communications skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
A passionate and high-energy style, with the commitment and enthusiasm to take on complex, challenging situations in a dynamic organization.
Ability to envision, articulate, and realize both process and program improvements within the communications function.
Excellent judgment with the ability to analyse, critique and offer recommendations for improvement.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, and a personal reputation for honesty, integrity and above-reproach ethics.
Experience Experience using internal communications tools, including content publishing systems, email management systems, digital signage, measurement tools, etc.
Minimum 5-7 years of related experience.
Experience within a corporate services environment would be advantageous.
