Each customer is at the heart of their business where they strive to design, deliver and support the very best solution to underpin their business and daily operations supported by industry leading specialists.
For their onsite canteen at their Dummer offices, they are now looking for a professional and friendly In-house Chef to join their ambitious and busy team.
The role includes all aspects of delivering a welcome, tasty and good-looking plate of food including preparation, cooking, reheating, assembling and serving.
You will also be taking and processing food orders, whilst maintaining a clean and safe canteen space, both front of house and behind the scenes, keeping the customer at the forefront of your day.
In-house Chef , the role: Receiving and preparing customers orders according to their preferences Catering for Boardroom lunches and meetings Running efficient systems to enable pre-ordering and on time delivery of pre-ordered meals Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary, food safety and hygiene guidelines and practises Keeping high standard of cleanliness for canteen, kitchen and storeroom Adhering to Environmental Health and statutory Fire and H&S Regulations Choosing ingredients and design a menu to include good use of seasonal food items, creating delicious dishes that will draw staff into the canteen Looking after deliveries and storage of stock, stock control and stock taking In-house Chef , perfect applicant: Previous experience within a similar role Welcoming and approachable attitude Comfortable working unsupervised, yet maintaining high attention to detail Team player who keeps a positive and helpful manner Great communication and multitasking skills Ability to work well under pressure and deliver high standards of customer service and consistent quality Good level on numeracy Capable to memorize customers names to provide personalized service In-house Chef , the benefits: Competitive Salary Day off for your birthday 21 days of Annual Leave rising to 22 days after 3 years and 25 days after 5 years (plus BH) Employee Assistance Programme Opportunity to work within a great environment and personal development orientated business Free onsite parking Pure Human Resources Limited works in partnership with Southern Communications Group Limited in providing HR and Recruitment support.
