We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef to join our team at Homefield House in Basingstoke. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality meals to our residents and staff, ensuring that our catering services meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook high-quality meals to our residents and staff, adhering to our nutritional guidelines and dietary requirements.
- Catering Team Management: Assist in the management of the catering team, ensuring that our kitchen is run efficiently and effectively.
- Supply Chain Management: Order supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines, using approved suppliers when necessary.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a high standard of hygiene within the kitchen by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
- Quality Control: Participate in inspections by Environmental Health and/or care regulators and Local Authorities, ensuring that our kitchen meets the required standards.
