Job Description Position: Business Development Manager Company: DNO Renewables Ltd Location: Remote, UK Only Salary: £25,000 + 10% Commission + Phone & Laptop About DNO Renewables Ltd At DNO Renewables Ltd, we specialise in creating and submitting G99 DNO applications for a wide range of renewable energy solutions, including domestic and commercial solar installations, electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, and air source heat pumps (ASHP).
Our mission is to streamline grid connection processes for our clients, enabling them to bring clean energy solutions to life with efficiency and ease.
Role Overview We are looking for a driven and proactive Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with our existing clients, driving new business opportunities, and promoting our services to a wider audience.
As a Business Development Manager, you will act as the primary liaison between our company and our clients, ensuring their needs are met while also identifying opportunities for growth.
Your ability to develop strong partnerships and provide exceptional service will contribute directly to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for existing clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing exceptional support.
Address client inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure satisfaction with our services.
Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand services with current clients by understanding their evolving needs.
Proactively seek and onboard new clients, showcasing the value of our DNO application services.
Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the client base and achieve sales targets.
Liaison & Communication: Act as the bridge between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
Regularly update clients on progress, compliance, and any changes to their applications.
Sales & Commission: Negotiate contracts, secure deals, and contribute to revenue growth.
Earn a 10% commission on all sales secured, in addition to the base salary.
Market Insights & Reporting: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and market demands in renewable energy.
Prepare regular reports on client activity, sales progress, and performance metrics.
Key Skills & Competencies Proven experience in account management, business development, or a similar client-facing role.
Strong understanding of renewable energy solutions, particularly solar, EV, and ASHP installations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
Results-oriented with a proactive attitude and a passion for achieving targets.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in client interactions and project management.
Familiarity with DNO applications or a willingness to learn.
