What the Role Involves As the Head of Engineering, you will lead and inspire a team of engineers, shaping the delivery of cutting-edge digital solutions that align with strategic objectives.
You will oversee end-to-end software development processes, guide technical teams, and work closely with stakeholders to secure resources for innovative technologies.
This role offers the chance to craft and implement a forward-thinking technical strategy that enhances user experiences and drives digital transformation.
Key Skills and Expertise Must haves: Advanced programming knowledge (Open on language) Strong expertise in Domain-Driven Design and API management solutions.
Comprehensive understanding of software architecture, development lifecycles, DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and database systems.
Proven leadership in software engineering, with a track record of managing teams effectively.
Strategic planning and project management capabilities to foster innovation and collaboration.
Ability to align technical goals with organisational priorities.
Strong focus on maintaining security and compliance standards.
Excellent multitasking and organisational skills.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles.
Nice to haves: Industry specific certifications.
Academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Experience with digital platforms is a real plus.
