Teaching Personnel are looking for Teaching Assistants to work within Primary and Secondary schools who cater for pupils with Special Needs and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.  Key Responsibilities: Provide individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs, assisting with their learning, social interaction, and personal development.
Work closely with teachers, and other support staff to implement personalized learning plans and strategies.
Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons, ensuring a supportive and engaging classroom environment.
Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and a conducive learning atmosphere.
Observe and record students' progress, reporting back to teachers and parents as required.
Modify classroom materials and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
Maintain open communication with students, parents, and other staff members regarding individual needs and progress.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to SEN.
Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training).
Previous experience working with children with special educational needs in an educational setting.
Understanding of various types of SEN and effective strategies for support, as well as being confident with implementing them.  Awareness of safeguarding protocols and procedures.  Skills and Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.
Resilient nature.  Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Adaptability and flexibility to meet the changing student needs.
