Senior Analytical Scientist Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytical Scientist to join our pharmaceutical company in Macclesfield, UK on a 12-month contract basis.
Salary: £26.00 per hour (PAYE) or £50.68 per hour (Umbrella) - IR35 applicable.
Key Responsibilities: Lead analytical development activities to support early clinical phase drug product supply.
Develop and implement analytical methodologies for project progression.
Conduct lab-based experiments to generate data supporting project progression.
Author regulatory submissions and respond to regulatory questions.
Interpret analytical data and provide recommendations for project progression.
Develop risk assessments and stability strategies for safe and efficacious drug products.
Your Background: BSc, MSc, PhD or equivalent in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry.
Understanding of analytical science inputs into early phase drug product development and clinical supply.
Experience with analytical techniques for drug product characterization in early phase development.
Pharmaceutical industry experience or similar research/manufacturing background.
CMC content authoring experience for analytical aspects of drug product regulatory filings (desirable).
