Job Title: Senior Analytical Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analytical Scientist to join our team in Macclesfield, UK.

About the Role

This is a contract basis position for 12 months with an estimated salary of £95,280 per annum (£26.00 hourly rate) or £110,416 per annum (umbrella rate of £50.68 per hour).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of analytical methods to support early clinical phase drug product development.
  • Conduct laboratory-based experimental work to generate data for project progression.
  • Author regulatory submissions and prepare responses to regulatory questions.
  • Interpret analytical data and draw conclusions to influence project progression.
  • Develop risk assessments and stability strategies for safe and efficacious drug products.
Your Background
  • A BSc, MSc, PhD or equivalent degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry.
  • An understanding of analytical science inputs into early phase drug product development and clinical supply.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or similar research and manufacturing sectors.
  • Ability to author CMC content for analytical aspects of drug product regulatory filings.
