There is ample parking space available when visiting.
As this role is hybrid, it will require some travel to locations around the region.
You must have your own transport and travel expenses will be paid.
We are looking for an experienced and talented Regional Learning & Development Facilitator (Midlands & North) to join our growing team at Thomas Franks to create and facilitate training, learning and development events within the business in response to business strategy and training needs.
Role Requirements: To create and facilitate training, learning and development events within the business in response to business strategy and training needs.
General Responsibilities: Delivering an annual cycle of training programs that are aligned with the organisations objectives and having a strong understanding of what these are.
Liaising with leaders and team members across the business regarding training and development plans.
Seek to understand the training needs of the business through informal discussion, observation and building good rapport with all team members within the business.
Embracing and facilitating different approaches to development, including e-learning, mentoring or coaching.
Having an awareness of the allocated budget and an ability to find solutions in order to implement the required training.
Designing learning and development opportunities for all employees (i.e.
customer service, values).
Attending and representing L&D at regional meetings and events Managing the administration and co-ordination of training and learning events.
Working closely with other departments to deliver quality training across the business.
Supporting and liaising with team members to develop their own career pathways To attend team operational meetings and events several times a month Key personal skills and attributes: Organised and driven.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team working abilities, listening skills, the ability to work on own initiative.
The ability to communicate with the Senior Management Team regarding L&D opportunities within the business.
To facilitate multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Reliable, honest and able to demonstrate an open attentive approach to customer service to our internal and external customers.
Willingness to develop L&D skills to create more innovative L&D events.
Knowledge / Competencies: Competent skills in the Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
Experience in training or teaching events.
