PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To assist the Directors and provide accurate data analysis, reports, presentations to support in the smooth running of the business.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES The duties are many and varied, but the list below is considered to be the basic requirement: Situation solving, be proactive and capable of understanding issues and resolving.
Thrive in challenging situations and enjoy working within deadlines.
Responsibility for the gross trading margin performance of the region.
To work with the director to set the budgets for the year.
Managing and Leading the commercial team within the region, driving and exceeding budgets with a Can do attitude.
Developing and Creating an energetic trading environment for the team to grow and progress with 1to1 plans for all.
Working with the internal business partners across all aspects of the business, HSEQ, HR, People, Finance, Shared Services.
Delivering a supplier Strategy alongside the Director.
Recruiting/inducting and retaining the next Maen Karne talent.
Admin responsibilities for all aspects of the business from Supplier quotes being correct, Data entered into system and Purchase orders.
Ensuring that there are fun activities delivered and entertaining our team, customers and suppliers outside working hours.
Responsibility for compliance and discharging legal duties with regards to HR and Health & Safety to promote a safe, equitable and legally compliant work place.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB: This will suit a people person, someone who is dedicated to serve to lead mantra making sure that your team and your business have all the tools to perform to the highest level.
Working with your director to make Maen Karne the number 1 place to work whilst seeing your team prosper along with yourself and the business.
