Job summary Are you an experienced estates professional with a passion for excellence and a proven track record in operational estate management?
We are recruiting for an Estates Manager to lead and manager our estates team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, based at our Warneford Hospital site.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our healthcare facilities are safe, efficient, and maintained to the highest standards.
Managing operational estates services within your allocated area, you'll oversee reactive and planned maintenance, ensure statutory compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as you will manage a team of Estates Officers, Engineers, and contractors, while fostering a positive, collaborative working environment.
You will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including senior managers and clinical leads, and represent the Trust in external audits and inspections.

This role requires travel across various sites across the Trust and will include an on-call rota.
The ability to travel freely between sites is essential for this role.
Main duties of the job You will be responsible for effective internal and external communication, the delivery of all operational Estates Services and ensure that the estate is effectively managed and safe.
You'll support the strong and visionary leadership of the departmental team and focus on delivering efficient and timely service, assess the performance of team members and attend regular training sessions and deliver training sessions to the workforce on key health and safety issues.
Some of the main duties in this role: Ensure that reactive maintenance works are undertaken to a safe, high quality and a timely manner Responsible for the maintenance budget within their hub ensuring works carried out in a cost, effective way, following SFI's and within allocated budget Ensure that remedial works identified by ppm/compliance/mandatory checks and tests are undertaken to a suitable standard and in a timely manner Ensure that the Trust's workforce have sufficient training to fulfil the roles and responsibilities required of them Collection and recording of quality data to ensure that the department's performance reporting is accurate and to a good quality Undertaking of regular audits and reviews to ensure that the estate is maintained in a safe and suitable condition, and issues and risks are identified Please refer to the job description attached for a comprehensive list of duties About us Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust provides physical, mental health and social care for people of all ages across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset.Our services are delivered at community bases, hospitals, clinics and people's homes, delivering care as close to home as possibleOur vision is that no matter who you are or where you are, you will tell us that you receive:"Outstanding care delivered by an outstanding team"Our values are:"Caring, safe and excellent"At Oxford Health we offer a wide range of benefits designed to support your career and wellbeing.
