Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is advertising this central role on behalf of the One Devon EPR Programme.
Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust have procured an integrated Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution.
The EPR will enable the biggest and most important transformational change in the Trust's health services across Devon in years.
This is a clinically and operationally led transformation programme to improve ways of working that will impact on every single one of our patients.
The Change, Readiness and Benefits Programme Manager will lead on the change management activities for the design, implementation and adoption of the One Devon EPR across Trust sites.
In addition, the Change, Readiness and Benefits Programme Manager will lead on the identification and realisation of planned benefits during the course of the One Devon EPR Programme.
Main duties of the job o Work as part of the One Devon Programme Senior Leadership Team to develop the One Devon EPR Change and Benefits Management Strategieso Work with Trust Change, Readiness & Benefit teams to establish programmes of work to underpin the delivery of the new ways of working, aligned to Business Case and emergent benefits and subsequently monitor performance against achievement of Be responsible for ensuring Change Management and Benefits Management processes and techniques are appropriately utilised in order to support organisational changes and realise benefits for the One Devon EPR Use experience and knowledge of Project Management methodologies to guide Change teams as they plan and execute change projects, and oversee their effective deliveryo Conduct organisational assessments and make recommendations for change and design new structures in jobs as requiredo Use expert change management and HR knowledge to work alongside the Trust Workforce teams to ensure workforce plans take in to account current and future workforce changes resulting from the implementation of the One Devon EPR To work with the Change & Benefits teams and Operational Leaders to guide the organisational change processes, providing advice on embedding and embracing change to enable and promote a smooth transition through go-live and into Business as Usual.

Transformation of services will be underpinned by the implementation of Epic as our new Electronic Patient Record.
Job description Job responsibilities Consult and inform operational trust-wide stakeholders and staff more generally on the scope and impact of proposed change packages using briefings, events and workshops Lead and facilitate workshops and meetings with clinical and operational staff to provide information and demonstrations on the benefits of the One Devon EPR Programme.
Use highly developed motivational and coaching skills to work directly with operational and clinical teams to develop their knowledge and understanding of a highly complex, clinical system in order to facilitate the effective implementation and adoption of the One Devon EPR Programme.
Make judgements, decisions and offer strategic guidance on a range of complex issues where there may be more than one course of action Initiate appropriate action plans and gain agreement across the programme/project structure to ensure that delivery plans are met Understand and manage the complex interrelationships that exist in a strategic multi-dimensional programme ensuring that timescales, budgets and deliverables are not compromised Monitor progress watching for any deviations from programme project plans and taking corrective action where necessary To create and implement complex change and benefits plans for the One Devon EPR Programme Plan and monitor the overall progress of change and benefits programmes Person Specification Essential Criteria Essential Educated to Masters level or demonstrable equivalent experience Change Management and / or Benefits Management Qualification Experience in a large NHS or private healthcare organisation working on projects that involved clinical staff and operational change or organisations with similar characteristics Experience of leading change within large scale clinical transformation programmes Experience of Leading Benefits Management within a large scale clinical transformation programmes Knowledge of project management methodology Experience of leading engagement activities to ensure adoption of clinical systems Desirable Project / Programme Management Qualification Experience of Epic Implementation
