Our client, a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence, is seeking an experienced General Operator to perform manufacturing and self-certification duties, as well as sub-assembly components.

Key Responsibilities : Perform precise assembly and manufacturing tasks according to established procedures, quality standards, safety protocols, and deadlines.
Help streamline the flow of work and information in the manufacturing area.
Adhere in all activities to agreed standards and behaviours.
Comply with all health and safety requirements.
IPC 610 certified / trained preferred.
Tentatively work across several departments, these might include : Looming: binding wire looming is a cable assembly that efficiently distributes electrical signals by linking cables together using a crimping tool.
(Ex; wiring, root wiring, soldering and fibre optics cabling), PEC and CCA Assembly Microelectronics Plastics Department (Ex; applying glues, cutting out intricate patterns, and moulding).
Manufacturing Control/ Stores (Kitting, SAP, Picking goods inwards).
Must be comfortable working under a microscope for most of the work.

: Proficient in dexterity for precise tasks.
Ability to read and understand layouts.
Adherence to instructions.
Flexibility to work varying shift patterns.
Strong attention to detail.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Completed ESD training.
Additional skills: PC literate Basic Microsoft skills Microelectronics experience Experience utilising a soldering iron and working with manufacturing micro-components Utilised crimping tool Experience using a microscope What happens now?
