The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively across teams, and handle tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Reporting to the Regulatory Manager, this role supports key business functions throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities: Stay updated on and advise on UK, EU, US, and Australian cosmetic regulations, including for export markets.
Provide regulatory guidance to internal teams (Labs, Marketing, Operations, Sales, QA) and external consultants.
Manage product testing, registration, and compliance for international markets.
Review and approve packaging and artwork for regulatory compliance in relevant markets.
Research and advise on regulatory requirements for new markets.
Handle cosmetovigilance, including assessments, audits, and product conformity complaints.
Provide compliance strategies and advise on marketing claims.
Approve ingredients and ensure regulatory adherence.
Manage regulatory documentation, including PIF files, CPNP/SCPN Notifications, and MoCRA registrations.
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact.
Represent the regulatory function in cross-functional teams.
Qualifications: Degree in life sciences or chemistry (or equivalent).
Proven ability to manage regulatory submissions, reviews, and multiple projects independently.
Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape, project management, and commercial awareness.
Effective communication and strategic problem-solving skills.
Experience mentoring junior regulatory staff.
