Job summary L4 Data Analyst Apprentice (leading onto a L6 Degree Apprenticeship in a similar field) ( Hours Per week) 21-month Fixed Term Contract Salary: Apprentice Hourly Rate: Age 18 to 20 - ( £17,000 per annum) Age 21 plus (£24, per annum) Grade B Location: SSL Hub -Unit 7, Junction 6 Industrial Estate, Electric Avenue, B6 7JJ Commences: Employment will commence in February 2025 Course starts 26th March with enrolment to be completed by 12th February 2025.
Duration: The Apprenticeship Programme is approximately 18 months plus 3 months End Point Assessment (EPA) Closing Date: Sunday 5th January Applications may close early if a high number of applications is received.
Interviews will take place W/C 13th January.
Main duties of the job Are you good with numbers; do you have strong analytical skills, an interest or experience in coding and a natural problem solver?
Do you think you could be the person to work with our managers and teams to help them navigate multiple and complex data output across our business, to make informed decisions through analytical solutions.
Are you keen to develop a professional career with a growing organisation whilst also gaining formal qualifications.
The SSL Level 4 l Data Analyst Apprentice, upon completion of their course, will be provided with an opportunity to progress onto a Level 6 Degree Apprentice in a similar field if they pass their qualification and are exceling in their role.

Person Specification Qualifications Formal & Vocational Essential o5 GCSE's A-C (Grade 5 or above) of which English must be included and Maths and a Science at least Grade 6 or above.
oLevel 3 qualification o3 A Levels A-C grades including at least one Maths, IT or Science based.
oBTEC equivalent qualifications in Business/IT/Science Desirable oHNC/HND in a Business, ICT, Maths or Science field.
Experience Essential oPractical higher-level knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Tools especially Excel oExperience and knowledge of coding which is evidenced through work experience/ education/ extra curriculum activities (Example: Python SQL.)
oKnowledge of and use of software report writing tools evidenced through experience/education and extra curriculum activities (Example: Tableau, Excel, Power BI) oExperience of working with complex data gained through work experience/education/extra curriculum activities.
oExperience of writing reports and presenting analytical Information Desirable oPower BI Knowledge and experience oSome experience of working on Data Analytical projects.
