Due to a move of one of our salaried GPs, we are looking for someone motivated and keen to join our ever-growing workforce.
We are offering 6 to 8 sessions a week, preferably with inclusion on the triage rota, with a starting salary of £11,500 and progression in the future.
We will also consider a view to Partnership.
Indemnity paid.
Supportive training practice.
6 weeks annual leave + bank holidays (pro rata).
Informal visits are welcome.

Main duties of the job To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.
Furthermore, the post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
About us Flansham Park Health Centre has 5 Salaried GPs supported by a team of highly professional clinical and non-clinical staff to provide the highest possible standard of care to over 13,200 patients.

Supported by excellent nursing and administration teams.
Active practice providing a large range of services including minor ops.

Weekly practice meetings.
Flansham Park Health Centre considers that employing staff who are patients of the practice has significant disadvantages both to the patient and to the practice.

Job responsibilities The following are the core responsibilities of the Salaried GP.
There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population.
The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract.
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance.
Effective management of long-term conditions.
Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks.
On a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles.
Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance.
Work collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload.
Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process.
Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice.
Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) of the QOF.
Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required.
Contribute effectively to the development and maintenance of the practice including clinical governance and training.
Ensure compliance with the appraisal process.
Prepare and complete the revalidation process.
Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team.
Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines.
Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure.
Review and always adhere to practice protocols and policies.
Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, always promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Person Specification Full GMC registration.
National Performers List registration.
Eligibility to practice in the UK independently.
Skills Excellent communication skills (written and oral).

Qualifications Qualified GP.
MRCGP.
Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP.
General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT).
