Full GMC Registration with licence to practise Experience Essential Completed at least four years full time hospital service junior or higher grade since first obtaining full or limited registration, including a minimum of 2 years experience in Ophthalmology Wide experience in management of Ophthalmology patients in outpatients, Lasers and theatre.
Desirable Ophthalmology fellowship or equivalent Specific educational interests and evidence of educational ideas or project work.
Qualifications Essential Medical Degree from recognised medical school FRCOphth / FRCS or equivalent Desirable Academic Prizes Audit or Case Presentations Teaching qualification / awards Management Skills Essential Demonstrates intelligent and analytical approach to problem solving.
Good time management.
Computer literate Ability to contribute to the development of the Trust and its services.
Desirable Possess good organisational and personal management skills Evidence of personal contributions to service development Awareness of the current UK Healthcare system and the need to develop services in line with current policy
