This is an exciting opportunity to work on multi-product designs for both ladies' and menswear, focusing on the Gen Z market, including denim styles (some prior denim experience preferred).
As a Junior Designer, you will play a key role in research, development, and creating collections for customer accounts and in-house ranges, ensuring designs align with the target audience's needs.
Key Responsibilities Trend Research: Stay ahead of current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes, and identify what appeals to the target market.
Creative Development: Create mood boards, design themes, and CAD-based collections.
Collaborative Design: Work closely with the design, sales, and production teams to ensure market-appropriate designs and price points.
Technical Communication: Prepare and share technical design specifications for samples.
Fabric Selection: Choose fabrics, trims, and materials for new designs.
Sample Oversight: Manage the prototype sample process and arrange samples for client presentations.
Showroom Management: Maintain an up-to-date showroom with fresh collections for client meetings.
Requirements Experience: Minimum of 3 years in fashion design, with strong ladies' wear experience.
Skills: Creativity, innovation, and a strong eye for detail.
Proficiency in CAD and good computer literacy.
Knowledge of garment technology and fabric selection.
Excellent organization, time management, and a proactive approach.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
Commercial awareness and business orientation.
Additional: Willingness to travel occasionally if required.
