This post is dispensary based at Tunbridge Wells Hospital focusing on receiving and booking in prescriptions using the prescription tracking system, handing out prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist, maintaining stock levels of OTC products, dispensing ward stock CDs, taking responsibility for stock and expiry date checks of CDs and taking responsibility for cashing up and maintaining appropriate coinage in the till.
It also includes dispensing for in patients & outpatients.
If you are currently community based you will have all the essential knowledge regarding dispensing that is required in hospital pharmacy.
No matter what your background is; in this post you will gain experience & training in dispensing and working in a pharmacy including TPN & other hospital-based products.
