Both departments are busy diagnostic hubs delivering high quality imaging for an acute Trust.A post has become available based in our department at Tunbridge Wells NHS Hospital.
We provide imaging services over seven days across our hospitals and CDC satellite sites.
Main duties of the job We are looking for a caring, dynamic, experienced, motivated radiographer who will suggest and encourage ideas, to join our team.
If you have a commitment to outstanding care, quality and have an interest in developing your leadership skills then our senior team could be for you.You will be a radiographer with significant post qualification experience, the majority of which will be in UK healthcare.
Previous CT imaging experience is essential.
You will be required to deputise for the Superintendent Radiographer.
Working for our organisation MTW is a large acute hospital trust in the south-east of England.
We provide a full range of general hospital services and some aspects of specialist and complex care to around 600,000 people living in west Kent and East Sussex.
We have a team of over 8,000 full and part-time staff.

Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria BSc Diagnostic Radiography or equivalentHCPC RegistrationCPD evidence Desirable criteria In possession of or working towards undertaking a postgraduate qualification.IV cannulation courseRelevant special/clinical interest group membership Knowledge Essential criteria Significant demonstrable post qualification experienceCompetence in a wide range of CT/ interventional scans.A sound knowledge of departmental/other hospital protocols and practices.Excellent interpersonal communication skills liaising with staff internally and externally.Ability to receive and analyse sensitive/ contentious, complex, information and respond in a rapid and appropriate fashionDecision making skillsAbility to rapidly assess patient personality and respond appropriatelyGood knowledge of IRMER and IRR Desirable criteria Experience of workloads in a busy CT department.
