We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance & Operations to strengthen the company’s financial and operational foundations – ensuring efficiency, scalability and sustainable profitability.The RoleYour focus will be to build on our strong financial performance by developing scalable systems, improving data-driven decision-making, and supporting the day-to-day running of the business. You’ll work closely with the Founder/CEO as a key partner, leading the finance function (supported by a Finance Junior) and ensuring that commercial decisions across Sales and Customer Success are based on sound financial insight.Key Responsibilities1. Financial LeadershipLead the company’s financial strategy, P&L and cash flow management.Manage budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.Oversee and mentor a Finance Junior responsible for daily accounting, invoicing and reconciliations.Maintain accurate SaaS metric reporting (ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, churn, net retention) and support decision-making with reliable data.Manage financial controls, audit, payroll and tax compliance alongside external accountants.2. Operational & Commercial OversightOversee the daily operations of the company, – ensuring internal processes run efficiently.Work with Sales and Customer Success to improve conversion, renewal and retention rates.Build and refine processes for onboarding, billing, renewals and customer communications.Identify cost efficiencies and lead initiatives to improve profitability and team productivity.3. Strategic Support to the FounderTranslate strategic goals into financial and operational plans.Provide insight and recommendations based on financial modelling and scenario analysis.Support the CEO with board reporting, investor communications and any future fundraising or M&A activity.4. Team & CultureManage and develop the Finance Junior, encouraging accuracy and accountability.Promote a culture of clear communication and shared responsibility across departments.Contribute to company planning cycles and ensure teams remain aligned to agreed objectives.About YouA hands-on finance professional with a strong commercial mindset.
