Learning and Development Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the site’s L&D strategy, drive innovation, and support the growth of our people from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering tailored training programmes across all levels, from frontline colleagues to senior leaders, ensuring compliance, capability, and career progression are at the heart of everything we do.This is a full time, permanent position where you’ll work Monday to Friday. However, you will need to be flexible on occasion – this is logistics after allPay, benefits and more:You’ll be paid a salary of up to £52,780 per annum. Plus, many other perks such as a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme and our continued focus on internal promotions, over 60% last yearWhat you’ll do on a typical day:Lead the development and implementation of training plans that support operational excellence and colleague growthCreate cross-training programmes to build flexibility and future-proof our workforceAudit and refresh training content to ensure compliance and consistencyDesign a management training suite to support junior and middle managers, helping reduce attrition and boost engagementSupport the development of the on-site training team to deliver engaging, workshop-style sessionsWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Experience within a similar L&D role of design, delivery and evaluation, with an understanding of workplace learning principlesExcellent communication skills and confidence in delivering training at all levelsSkilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience managing large datasetsExperience in designing long-term, multi-layered training plans with clear roadmapsCIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent)We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
