Contract Officer – Property, Maintenance & RepairsLocation: Sevenoaks, Kent (Hybrid – approx. 2/5 office-based) Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 37 per week (Mon–Thu 8:45–17:15, Fri 8:45–16:45) Salary: £45,440 per annumVenn Group is partnering with a leading Housing Association to recruit a Contract Officer to join their Property Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in managing property maintenance and repairs contracts, ensuring compliance, safety, and high-quality service delivery.The RoleAs a Contract Officer, you will:Coordinate the day-to-day running of property maintenance and repairs contracts.Plan works, monitor performance, and ensure delivery meets contractual specifications.Provide regular updates and reporting to the Senior Contract Manager.Audit contract information and monitor KPIs.Support financial monitoring and budget management.Respond to customer enquiries and manage CRM updates.Assist with compliance data for stock condition, asbestos, and fire risk assessments.Take ownership of specific projects and support the wider Property Team.We’re looking for someone with:Proven experience in contract or project management.Knowledge of JCT and partnering contracts.Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.Excellent customer service skills and complaint resolution experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.What’s on OfferBenefits - generous pension, health cash plan, flexible leave package which includes an additional three days leave for Christmas closure, paid time off to volunteer and an annual grant to support your wellbeing.Hybrid working model with a collaborative team environment.Opportunity to make a real impact in delivering safe, high-quality housing services.
