Design Coordinator / Design Interface – LiverpoolExcellent opportunity to move from a Design consultancy into Design management for a Tier 1 main contractor in LiverpoolSalary - £55,000 - £60,000 basic + £6,000 Car or Allowance + 15% BonusLocations – LiverpoolHybrid working, but a minimum of 3 days a week on site in LiverpoolRole DescriptionThe Resolute Group is working in partnership with a Tier 1 contractor to deliver infrastructure projects across the UK. With an opportunity coming up in their Transportation division to work under an Engineering Manager in delivering a package of works worth £50m over the next 3 years.Responsible for the management, coordination and integration of Rail Stations from the roof, canopy's, Power, Lighting, Foot bridges, Lift installations, Platform extentions etc..The Design Coordinator is a Project Manager for the design team, interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders. Taking a lead in meetings to ensure the design process is being delivered correctly, with any modifications undertaken, recorded and updated across the systems and associated stakeholders.Day-to-day duties will vary, but could include:Coordinates with design teams and other relevant parties to gather information on coordination documents that show interface clashes with third parties.Monitor and manage interface management, communicating any technical issues related to interfaces from the Design to the Delivery teams.Participate in resolving any technical issues related to system integration.Takes part in internal workshop/design review meetings.Conducts design review meetings and drafts the minutes.Follows up with stakeholders to ensure milestones are being achieved on time.Ensure the work is being carried out in accordance with the agreed-upon designs and specifications from the client, as well as the contractual terms.This is a site-based role, working out of the site offices a minimum of 3 days a week, with 2 days a week from home or as required by the business.
