If you are a BIM Coordinator who is striving to be the best in the role that you do whilst being fully supported by a business who shares the same ambition of growing its digital department significantly then this role is one that you should be keen to applyto. This business has lots of pedigree and history, they are well established in the market and have a solid and sound reputation as an MEP Contractor and within its Digital Engineering department.

This role is not about reinventing the wheel and forming BIM Strategies, this role is about continuing to support and shape the companies BIM strategy. Innovation, new ideas and different ways of doing things would be encouraged but we are not starting atground zero here. This is an existing department that plays an important role in the design delivery and design integration of projects.

You will liaise with all areas of the business, Digital Teams, Engineers, Procurement and Supply Chain, Project Managers, Site Managers and many more areas to support the overall goal of building on time and on budget.

This role is available on a remote basis with the odd occassion when you need to go to the Liverpool office to support the broader team. You will be the sole BIM Coordinator in the team so it is important that if you are working remotely you have reacheda level of autonomy in a similar role. There is scope to grow into the role but that would need to be balanced with time needed to be spent in the engineering office in Liverpool.
- Relevant experience in the design, specification and procurement of buildings.
- Experience of using REVIT, BIM 360, MagiCAD would be an advantage
- A clear understanding of the multi-disciplinary design approach and the delivery of projects to a high quality, from bid stage to operation.
- Experience in the successful management of the MEP elements of projects.
- Experience and understanding of multi-disciplinary design processes.
- The ability to confidently represent the company at external design team meetings.
- An excellent knowledge of BIM and the ability to implement the use 3D multi-disciplinary modelling on projects.
