Senior Manufacturing EngineerWorcestershireSalary: £55,000 to £65,000 DOEOnsite, Full-Time, Mon-FriWe are partnered with a critical components manufacturer in Worcestershire that has recently moved into new ownership and leadership. The business is undergoing a wider transformation and preparing for a period of strong growth with a healthy international order book across several OEMs.This role will suit a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with deep experience in hot metal environments including castings or forgings. You will play a leading part in shaping and improving core manufacturing processes, supporting operational stability, and driving capability improvements across a varied and technically demanding product portfolio.Key Responsibilities• Lead the development, optimisation and standardisation of processes for hot metal product manufacturing• Drive CI activity with clear operational outcomes in safety, quality, cost and delivery• Act as a technical authority for complex manufacturing issues and support production teams• Support NPI and ensure robust manufacturing readiness for new and revised product introductions• Partner closely with engineering, quality and operations to raise technical capability• Contribute to wider transformation projects as systems and processes are modernised• Mentor and support junior engineers and share best practice across the teamWhat You Will Bring• Strong experience in hot metal manufacturing, specifically castings or forgings• Proven process engineering background in regulated and heavy manufacturing• Ability to lead CI initiatives and deliver measurable improvements• Strong diagnostic and problem solving capability for complex technical issues• Experience working across varied product ranges and adapting to changing priorities• Confident communication skills with the ability to influence across functions• Interest in contributing to a business in transformation with significant long term growth aheadPlease note that full and permanent right to work in the UK is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
