Job Description – Marine Advisor (Offshore Wind)Purpose of the RoleAs a Marine Advisor, you will join the Offshore Wind Business Line within the Installation Method Department. You will collaborate closely with project teams and cross-functional departments—including Engineering, Procurement, HSE, Quality, and Planning—to provide expert maritime advice and support for offshore operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare scopes of work and project documentation related to marine operations and vessel usageDevelop technical specifications for vessels involved in offshore activitiesReview and assess technical bids and proposalsEstablish procedures and method statements for marine operationsParticipate in marine assurance activitiesContribute to the development of offshore engineering methods and project execution strategies related to marine and vessel operationsSupport HAZIDs, HAZOPs, and other formal risk-assessment processesProfile & RequirementsEducationMaster STCW II/2 (Unrestricted) or equivalentCertificate of Competency with command experience preferredLower CoC considered with relevant degree and experienceExperience10–15 years as a Senior Officer on offshore vessel typesStrong background in vessel operations and offshore activitiesTechnical SkillsProven ability to command an offshore vesselSolid understanding of offshore marine operationsIT SkillsProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteOther RequirementsFlexibility to travel on site up to 70%Must currently reside in the UKMust hold full and permanent UK right-to-work status (no sponsorship available)What We OfferContractor position (6 months)Outside IR35Hybrid working model with smart-working options and flexible hoursLocation: Kingston Upon Thames
