Area Sales Manager

OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across designated territories. This role involves developing strategic plans to expand our market presence, managing key client relationships, and driving revenue growth.This role is hybrid and based in the south west of England, we welcome applications in this region.Key ResponsibilitiesManage market share, sales activities, and allocated accounts across specified South-West UK geographic areas.Develop and grow nominated global accounts while continuously targeting and securing new business in the region.Set and deliver annual and monthly sales objectives aligned with the company’s strategic plan and follow up on marketing-generated leads.Implement sales and marketing plans while supporting monthly reporting, forecasting, and performance management for assigned industries and accounts.Produce required industry and product reports, maintain accurate CRM data, and stay informed on market trends, competitors, and customer strategies.Perform additional duties as required by the Regional Sales Manager or Sales Director, while upholding company behaviours and values.Experience and SkillsONC in Electrical/InstrumentationDegree in Engineering would be advantageous.A clean driving license.Has a good proven track record of a field sales background.Strong negotiating skills and capacityAbility and willingness to follow instructions of management and respond to requests from others in the team in a helpful manner.Strong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrates an understanding of the needs of internal and external customers.Ensures actions of self and others meet or exceed customer requirements.InitiativeMonitors and manages own time to ensure daily objectives are met.Develops and improves procedures in agreement with line manager.Accepts additional challenges and responsibilities willingly and assists others.Self-reliantWillingness to work extra hours or help in areas outside of role.Use of initiative to ensure tasks are completed.
