Initially focused on fraud and volume cyber crime, the Online Crime programme will use targeted data and intelligence sharing to prevent online crime at scale.The programme is being delivered in partnership with the Home Office and the National Crime Agency, you will be expected to work closely with colleagues from those agencies and may work from the different premises within London from time to time.About The RoleIndustry partnership and data sharing both cross sector and between industry and law enforcement sits at centre of the Online Crime work.You will be pivotal in supporting the 3 Industry Partnership leads representing industry partners to manage communications and engagement across the key industry sectors tech, telco, cyber and financial services and ensure their involvement in the design and delivery of the Online Crime Programme..ResponsibilitiesInclude:Managing diary commitments effectively and efficiently, including planning and scheduling both internal and external meetings which involves high level management, coordination and engagement at chief officer/staff level internally and executive level externallyManaging all invitations to meetings and events, and where necessary suggest and arrange appropriate alternative representation ensuring any representative is briefed appropriately.Composing or drafting as directed, a variety of correspondence and documentation to a high standard using Microsoft Office Suite. To ensure that all such correspondence is logged, processed and responded to, and tracked where necessary.Monitoring and managing e-mails and correspondence and ensure all issues are prioritised and dealt with as appropriate.Drafting agendas and write and produce accurate minutes, decisions and/or actions for meetings as directed which may be of a highly confidential and/or sensitive nature.Support in creating and sharing regular communications with industry partners on behalf of the Online Crime programme team and feeding back into the team, the insights gained from industry partners.Assisting Key Performance Indicator reporting for the Industry Leads.Assisting with wider Online Crime Programme Lead, as required.RequirementsInclude:Substantial previous experience in an Executive Assistant / PA role at a senior executive level, providing a range of PA/Executive services such as the management of complex diaries, the co-ordination of complex travel arrangements and itineraries, the management of correspondence and confidential records systems, the arrangement of meetings and business functions.Experience of liaising with senior stakeholders to include matters which require confidentiality and discretion.Experience of drafting high quality documentation such as correspondence, minutes and briefings.Very good communication skills to liaise with a range of contacts internally and externally including high ranking Police Officers, Home Office and other government officials, Chief Executives and Senior Members.Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload unsupervised and to deadlines.This vacancy is open only to those who have the right to work in the UK.If you would like to discuss the role please contact: HR Services at HRservices@cityoflondon.police.ukSelection ProcessAs part of the initial application process, you will be asked to evidence how your experience, skills, and knowledge demonstrate your ability to meet the person specification of the role.The application and interview will be tested under Level 2 of the College of Policing Competency and Values Framework.Applicants who fail to address the skills/knowledge/experience of the job description will not be considered.The closing date for applications is Thursday 11th December 2025 at MiddayFollowing shortlisting, successful candidates will be invited to attend a competency-based interview, to be held Week commencing TBCWe strive to ensure all our information and services are accessible to and useable by everyone.
